The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) presidential flag bearer, Nandala Mafabi, is set to hold multiple campaign rallies in Adjumani District today as part of his nationwide mobilization tour ahead of the 2026 general elections.
According to Hassan Kaps Fungaroo, FDC Deputy President for Northern Uganda, Mafabi will engage supporters at Dzaipi Sub-county, Pakele Town Council, and Cesia Football Grounds in Adjumani Town Council, where he will wrap up the day’s events.
Fungaroo said Mafabi’s visit is part of the party’s broader effort to connect directly with citizens and present practical solutions to Uganda’s economic challenges. “Our candidate’s message is very clear — Uganda’s economy is broken, and people are struggling to survive,” he said. “Nandala Mafabi is coming to Adjumani with a plan to fix the economy and restore hope by ensuring money returns to people’s pockets.”
He added that the FDC’s economic recovery strategy will focus on boosting local production, improving service delivery, and narrowing the gap between the rich and the poor.
“Ugandans deserve leaders who understand the pain of ordinary citizens,” Fungaroo said.
“Under Nandala’s leadership, FDC will prioritize job creation, fair taxation, and empowering small businesses to thrive.”
Mafabi’s visit to Adjumani comes amid a surge in political activity across the country as parties intensify campaigns in preparation for the 2026 elections.
